Who we are and what we do

ShopRates provides educational information about business financing and may connect you with independent financing providers. ShopRates is not a lender and does not itself make credit decisions, issue financing offers or fund transactions. A provider decides whether to accept an application, what information to request and whether to make an offer.

No offer or guarantee of financing

Information on this website does not constitute a financing offer, preapproval, commitment to lend or guarantee of eligibility. Availability, amounts, rates, fees, repayment schedules, collateral requirements and funding times depend on the provider, product, applicant and applicable terms. A provider may decline an application or offer different terms. Review the provider’s written agreement and disclosures before accepting any financing.

Examples, estimates and calculators

Rates, payment examples, comparisons and calculator outputs are illustrations based on the inputs and assumptions shown. They may omit origination fees, other charges, variable pricing, changes in payment frequency, early payoff terms, or product specific mechanics unless expressly included. An estimate is not a quote, an APR disclosure or a substitute for a provider’s written offer.

For an accurate comparison, look at cash actually received, the timing and total of payments, fees, collateral, guarantees and what happens if payments are missed.

The Business Loan Calculator explains its assumptions next to each result. Calculators may not model a merchant cash advance, lease, receivables purchase or line of credit as a conventional amortizing loan. If a product uses a different pricing or repayment structure, rely on its actual contract and disclosures.

Provider relationships and referrals

ShopRates may receive compensation when a visitor is referred to, applies with, or receives financing from a provider. Compensation and provider relationships may affect which providers appear or are introduced. A listing or introduction does not mean the provider is the only available option or that its offer is the lowest cost. The name or logo of a provider is used for identification and does not imply that a government agency endorses ShopRates. This website may link to independent provider websites and outside resources. Those third parties control their own content, privacy practices, eligibility decisions and agreements.
